Run your Agent

What are Tasks?

In Arahi AI, Tasks represent the individual units of work your Agent executes — from start to finish. This overview section serves as your command-center where you monitor, review and interact with everything your Agent handles.

The Tasks Page: Your Command Center

The Tasks Page is organised into four main panels, giving you full visibility and control:

  1. Task List (Left Sidebar)

    • Displays all tasks your Agent has handled (completed, in progress, needing review).

    • Includes built-in filters like All Tasks, To Review, plus your custom filters (e.g., “High Priority”, “Refunds”) to segment views.

    • Quick tip: Use search and filters to quickly pinpoint tasks by status, tag or input.

  2. Agent Output (Middle Section – Top)

    • Shows the selected task’s title, source trigger, and the full output generated by the Agent.

    • Also displays summary of actions taken (for example: “Sent email”, “Updated CRM record”).

    • Quick tip: Use this view to confirm what your Agent did.

  3. Agent Chat (Middle Section – Bottom)

    • A live chat interface where you can ask the Agent questions about the task (“Why did you pick this option?”), provide additional instructions or refine the result.

    • Quick tip: Use this to guide your Agent and improve outcomes mid-workflow.

  4. Task Details (Right Sidebar)

    • Shows metadata and deeper technical/log info for the selected task:

      • Created date/time and triggering source

      • Status (active, paused, completed)

      • Credits or compute usage

      • Metadata tags you’ve assigned

      • Scheduled timing (if recurring)

      • Which Tools and Agents were linked to the task

    • Quick tip: Use this sidebar as your audit trail for performance, cost and debugging.

How to Use the Workspace Effectively

  1. Use the left sidebar to find the tasks you’re interested in (filter by tag, status, tool used).

  2. Select a task → review the Agent output in the top section to see what happened.

  3. Use the chat interface to ask follow-up questions, correct errors, or provide new instructions.

  4. Inspect the details sidebar for metadata, credited usage, and tool usage metrics — great for identifying bottlenecks or cost drivers.

  5. Based on what you see, you may want to:

    • Approve or reject output (if human-approval workflows are enabled)

    • Re-run the task with adjusted input

    • Archive or tag the task for later review

    • Refine your Agent prompt, tools or triggers if you see recurring issues

Best Practices for Task Management

  • Maintain clear tags and filters: As your agent handles more tasks, filtering becomes essential to manage workflows efficiently.

  • Use the chat for context: If output isn’t quite right, the chat lets you loop in real-time corrections rather than starting over.

  • Monitor credit/usage costs: The details panel shows compute/credit usage — keep tabs on high-cost tasks to optimise.

  • Review recurring tasks: Tasks that happen frequently should be streamlined and possibly fully automated rather than reviewed manually each time.

  • Set KPIs per task type: For key workflows (e.g., “Lead qualification”, “Invoice processing”), track success metrics (accuracy, time saved, human escalations) through your Tasks dashboard.

  • Use audit logs for training: Use tasks that went wrong or needed chat-feedback to improve your Agent’s prompt, tool flows, or variables.

Summary

The Tasks Overview section in Arahi AI is your operational HQ. It allows you to watch your Agent in action across all workflows, intervene when needed, optimise performance and measure impact. Use the four-panel layout to maintain clarity, act efficiently and continuously refine your automation.
